Common questions.
How does the free trial work?
Sign up with an email in the app and you get 10 render credits. No credit card, no time limit. Use them on any preset, in any mode. When you're ready, pick a plan or buy a top-up to keep going.
Do credits expire?
Subscription credits roll over for 60 days. So if you don't use all of February's 250 Studio credits, the leftovers stick around through April. Top-up credits never expire and stack with your subscription balance — buy a top-up during a deadline crunch and keep the leftover for whenever.
What if I need more credits in a busy month?
Buy a top-up. They're available on any plan (and on the free trial). 100 credits for $15, 500 for $59, or 2,000 for $179. They never expire and apply on top of your subscription credits.
Can I switch plans or cancel?
Yes — any time. Upgrades are prorated and apply immediately. Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period; you keep your credits through that period and the 60-day rollover window.
How does the Firm plan work for studios?
Firm includes 5 seats and a shared pool of 1,200 credits per month. Anyone on the team can render against the same balance, and the owner sees per-member usage in the admin dashboard. Extra seats are $29/mo. Single Stripe invoice, central billing — easy to expense.
Can I use the renders commercially?
Yes. You own the output. Use it in presentations, competition boards, client deliverables, marketing — whatever you ship.
Where do my projects live?
Locally, in a SQLite database on your machine. Studio Render doesn't upload your projects anywhere. Only the prompt and source image for the current render are sent to the API, and only at render time.
Can I install on more than one computer?
Yes. Your license is tied to you, not a device. Sign in on your studio Mac and your laptop — credits draw from the same balance.
What's the refund policy?
All sales are final. Credits are digital goods delivered immediately, so we don't offer refunds — that's why we give you 10 free renders up front to try the full Service before you pay. We honour mandatory consumer-protection rights where they apply. See the Refunds Policy for the full details.
