Refunds Policy

All sales are final. Credits are digital goods that are delivered immediately and can be consumed instantly, so we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law. We offer a free 10-render trial so you can evaluate the Service before paying.

1. Our policy: all sales are final

Credits and any other paid features of Studio Render are digital content that is supplied immediately upon purchase. Because Credits can be consumed at any time after delivery, we do not provide refunds, exchanges, or returns once a purchase has been completed, except where required by mandatory consumer-protection law that cannot be contractually waived.

By completing your purchase you:

  • expressly request immediate performance and immediate supply of the digital content;
  • acknowledge that any statutory right of withdrawal you may have is lost once supply has begun; and
  • accept that Credits, once issued, are non-refundable except as set out in Section 3.

2. Free trial

New users receive 10 free render Credits on email signup. The trial lets you evaluate the full Service, including all 9 architectural style presets, both render modes, project history, and export. Please use the trial before purchasing. We will not refund a paid plan on the basis that the Service did not meet your expectations after the trial.

3. Mandatory legal exceptions

The following exceptions apply only if and to the extent mandatory law in your jurisdiction grants you a right that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable statutory right you may have.

3.1 European Union and European Economic Area

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. For digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (such as Credits), that right is lost when performance begins, provided you have given prior express consent to immediate performance and have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal. By completing checkout and clicking “I agree” (or equivalent), you give that consent and acknowledgement.

Where, on the facts of your purchase, the statutory withdrawal right has not been validly waived, you may withdraw within 14 days of purchase by emailing billing@studiotools.app using the model withdrawal form below. Any Credits already consumed will not be refunded.

3.2 United Kingdom

Equivalent rights apply under the UK Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. By giving express consent for immediate supply you acknowledge the loss of any right of withdrawal once performance begins. Statutory remedies for digital content that is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described remain available.

3.3 Australia

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If our Service fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to a refund or replacement for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. For minor failures, we may choose to repair, replace, or refund.

3.4 Other jurisdictions

Consumer-protection laws differ. Where mandatory law in your jurisdiction grants non-waivable refund rights, those rights apply notwithstanding any provision of this policy or our Terms.

3.5 Model withdrawal form (EU/EEA/UK)

To exercise a statutory withdrawal right where available, you may use the following form:

4. Discounts and promotions

We may offer discounts, promotional codes, partner offers, and bundle deals from time to time. Each Promotion is governed by its specific terms and by the Discounts section of the Terms. Key points:

  • Discounts apply only when correctly entered and accepted at checkout. We will not retroactively apply a discount after an order is placed.
  • Promotions may not be combined unless we say so.
  • Promotions have no cash value and are not refundable for cash.
  • We may cancel, modify, or revoke any Promotion at any time, including for fraud or abuse.

5. Failed renders

If a render fails because of a server-side error on our end, no Credit is deducted from your balance. If you see a Credit deducted for a render that clearly failed on our side, contact billing@studiotools.app with the timestamp and we will restore the Credit. This is a Credit restoration, not a cash refund.

Renders that succeed but do not meet your aesthetic expectations are not treated as failed renders. AI models are probabilistic; results vary by prompt, seed, and preset. Use the free trial and locked-seed iteration to dial in results before consuming Credits at volume.

6. Duplicate or unauthorised charges

If you believe you were charged twice for the same order, or charged for an order you did not place, contact billing@studiotools.app within 60 days of the charge with your order receipt. We will investigate with our payment processor and, where we confirm a duplicate or unauthorised charge, process a refund for that charge through the original payment method.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Most billing issues can be resolved faster directly. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us, or chargebacks we reasonably believe to be fraudulent or abusive, may result in:

  • immediate suspension or termination of your account;
  • forfeiture of any unused Credits;
  • blocking your email and payment information from future use of the Service; and
  • recovery of associated fees and damages.

We dispute chargebacks we believe are unjustified, including by providing the payment processor with the records of your purchase, IP address, license validation, render activity, and acceptance of these terms.

8. How to request a refund (where applicable)

Email billing@studiotools.app from the address associated with your account, with:

  • your order number or receipt;
  • the date of purchase;
  • the reason for the request and the legal basis (if relying on a mandatory exception in Section 3);
  • any evidence supporting the request.

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond substantively within 14 days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within the timeframes required by the relevant payment processor and applicable law.
